The Spirit World Is Not a Monolith

The spirit world is not a monolith. There are beings who have active interest in subjugating humans for their own gain. The loopholes, manipulations, and tricks that they use are sometimes basic, more often convoluted and complex and subtle or hidden from our view. They have advantages we do not have, especially as we are currently incarnated humans with limited access to our whole self and spiritual knowledge. This is why the way is tricky to navigate. This is why it is helpful to identify and establish working relationships with Spirits who are in line with our highest will and good—be they Guides, Guardians, Ancestors, or Allies.

The image of the monolith as used in Clarke/Kubrick's Space Odyssey series depicts pre-human technology left by an alien species to terraform the planet and guide human evolution. This imagery animates primary archetypes: the inhuman, unknowable mysteries; the codification of law and social structure on stele (stone pillars); ancient technology and the possibility of communicating with it. However, these are signifiers and conduits that can be used by parties with widely ranging interests.

The work of alchemy happens on every level to carefully distill the truths that bring us closer to free will and liberated love. With constant obfuscation, cooptation, regurgitation, those beings who would keep us captive have buried these truths right in front of our faces.
